A volunteer department with deep roots in Pasquotank County and a commitment to the neighbors we serve.

Our story

The 8 House.

Organized in 1980, Pasquotank-Providence was among the first volunteer fire departments established by Pasquotank County.

Our response area includes northern Pasquotank County and Providence Township, stretches of US 17 Business and Bypass, residential neighborhoods, schools, and commercial properties.

We began with one engine company, one tanker, and one squad. Today, our apparatus supports structural and brush fire response, vehicle incidents, aerial operations, and command and support needs.
